The newly renovated hotel Barbora is situated in the centre of the town Cesky Krumlov, approx. 50 metres from the main square. The hotel consits of two historical buildings from the 16th century. Hotel offers an accommodation in comfortable rooms equipped with an oak furniture, a luxury bathroom, WC, TV, SAT, radio, minibar and the aircondition. Some of the rooms have an original wooden carved ceiling from the 16th century and some offer a beautiful view to the castle panorama. The U Mesta Vidne (Hotel Vienna) is located in the pedestrian zone Latran in the tranquil centre of the UNESCO protected architectural area. Walking distance from all major tourist attractions of Cesky Krumlov.The house U mesta Vidne is a large complex of buildings. The first written record about this house is from 1565, when it was owned by Hans Masserhansl. His son baker Hans lived here until the first decade of the seventeenth century. In 1611 the property was worth 430 Meissner groschen. The baker family Porth owned the house from 1655 to 1778. A bread shop used to be there at that time. There was a fire in 1798 but the house continued to be used as a bakery after the fire. In 1870, Tomas Soukup requested permission to carry out a reconstruction of the house U mesta Vidne so it would be more efficient as an inn. In 1929, Jiri Kerschbaum purchased three stand-alone wings of the neighbouring Claretian convent. Between 1929 and 1931 the building was changed to the hotel.Now the hotel offers 46 comfortable, renovated guest rooms
