Victoria Falls Livingstone:
Stanley Safari Lodge is located on a hill overlooking the spray of the Victoria Falls, the Zambezi river and the elephants drinking place. This exclusive lodge is the ideal base for the new explorers of the Victoria Falls, as it is close to the Falls, the game parks, the activities and the airport. At the same time it is secluded in the bush. With only 8 rooms and 2 members of staff for every client, Stanley Safari Lodge is able to offer you an unprecedented level of service. Our suites have a private plunge pool. Stanley Safari Lodge offers a wide range of activities without checking out of the lodge such as: Game Drives, Bush Walks, 1 day Safari trip to Chobe National Park (Botswana), Elephant back Safari, Horse Riding, Golf, visit of the Victoria Falls, visit of authentic traditional African village, Livingstone Museum, Cruise on the Zambezi, canoeing, fishing trips, rafting, riverboarding, bungeejumping, abseiling, jetboating, microlight or helicopter flights above the Victoria Falls, etc. We can organise your entire Safari Trip for you. As such we offer multi-day safaris to: Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park in Botswana, South-Luangwa, Lower-Zambezi or Kafue National Park in Zambia, to name a few. Due to the remoteness of these National Parks, clients fly-in with small aircrafts to a private airstrip in the Park. All our Safari journeys are entirely tailor-made. Zambia is besides its wildlife particularly interesting for its different cultures. As Zambia is only recently opening up for tourism, most of the cultural heritage of this country and its 72 tribes have been preserved. Only 3 km from Stanley Safari Lodge is the 800-year old traditional village of Chief Mukuni, 'Monarch of the Victoria Falls'. Locally, Chief Mukuni, is known as the 'Living Stone', as he swallows a stone once he becomes Chief. This is probably the reason, that the small town of Livingstone has been able to conserve its name the British gave it to honour their explorer.
