The raised platform guest suites are constructed on top of very strong poles and steel beams, with a sturdy light-coloured wooden floor and double canvas sides with large bug-screen covered windows. The forward-facing folding doors that open out onto the veranda overlooking the waterhole also have large bug-screens and roll-down blinds. In addition to the folding doors, each window in the suite has a roll-down canvas blind that guests can choose whether they have up, secured and open, or down and closed for privacy.We also offer standard tree houses. These accommodation units are rustic and not of the same standard as the new platform units. Rather, they cater to safari-lovers or folks who are seeking a slightly less luxurious and more rustic bush accommodation. In addition to the raised platform guest suites, there are also classic ground-level thatched roof rondavels, while a large in-ground swimming pool on the sprawling lawn in front of main lodge is there for all of our guests to enjoy.

Chilo Gorge Safari Lodge is located on a gorge overlooking the Save River and Gonarezhou National Park in South East Zimbabwe. It links with South Africa’s Kruger National park to the south and Mozambique to the east.The lodge offers full board accommodation in Luxury King and Twin Rooms. These rooms have private balconies that look over the Safe River. Each room is equipped with luxurious cotton bedding and a mini bar. The Nhambo Lodge and Family lodge offer a self-catering escape for larger groups. From here guest can enjoy panoramic views and facilities and game drive on offer at Chilo Gorge Safari Lodge. Milibizi Resort is a selection of self-catering chalets in the Mlibizi area that are either privately owned or booked out for visitors. Chalets range from accommodation for two guests, up to chalets which can accommodate larger groups. The Kariba Ferry launches from a dock next to the resort which makes this an ideal stopover when catching the ferry.Although each self-catering chalet is different, they all offer certain facilities inclusive of the daily rate. All linen requirements are provided and the fully equipped kitchens offer gas stoves, electric deep freezers and fridges. The bedrooms are fitted with window fly screens and overhead ceiling fans. Chalet attendants are responsible for basic household chores including setting barbecue fires, making the beds and the washing the dishes. One attendant is shared between two chalets.
