Our establishment is situated in a noble, historical building that belonged to the Dukes of Santoña. Recently renovated, its origins date back to the 19th century. El Hostal La Vera es un pequeño establecimiento familiar, de una estrella, que reune las condiciones de un negocio agradable y de calidad, con una acogida hospitalaria y un trato personal, donde recibirá de buen agrado toda la información necesaria para moverse por nuestra ciudad: transporte, oferta cultural, seguridad, entretenimientos en la capital, etc... Está situado en una zona ideal para explorar los lugares de interés de la capital, ya que la mayoría se encuentra en las inmediaciones del hotel, como el museo del Prado, el museo Thyssen-Bornemisza y el museo Reina Sofía, espacio nacional de arte contemporáneo. La Puerta del Sol se encuentra a sólo 100 metros, y a 5 minutos a pie hay tres paradas de metro, por lo que el hotel es la base ideal para explorar Madrid y los alrededores. Located in the old town, the centre of Madrid's cultural and artistic activity, Hostal Mirentxu is within walking distance of El Prado Fine Arts, the Thyssen and the Reina Sofia museums, the Botanic Gardens, Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol. The area is great for shopping and has a good selection of cafes, bars and restaurants and very lively nightlife. Getting around Madrid or travelling a little further will not be a problem during your stay as the Sevilla metro station is under 5 minutes' walk away. Sol metro station is also close by and has 3 different metro lines and direct connections with the Atocha station (AVE high-speed train).
