Pictures is situated in a quiet residential area of Oudtshoorn close to the town centre and close to major tourist attractions. With its warm and comfortable environment created, you will feel right at home. Our guesthouse offers three rooms each with air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom and private balcony, decorated with a pictures theme. The rooms include TV, DVD Player, and Hi-fi, tea-and-coffee making facilities, hairdryers and safe. Oudtshoorn is the ostrich capital of the world. Here ostriches are found in great numbers and the region produces the best feathers, leather products and ostrich meat world-wide. But the world’s biggest bird is just one of the many attractions in this area of interesting contrasts. Children from the age of 14 are welcome. We are a non-smoking establishment and no pets allowed.

Light meals from 07:00 to 17:00, freshly baked bread for sale every day and dish-up-&-weigh buffet on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 12:00 and 14:00. Other fresh product like rusks, cakes, olives, jam, olive oils etc are available as well.
