Neema Crafts Centre has been open since 2003, followed by the guest house which opened in 2011. Neema is the first guest house in the world to be run by disabled people, aimed to uplift the community by providing training and jobs. The guest house consists of 10 en-suite rooms ranging from single to family-sized units. All bed linen is supplied, as well as Wi-Fi Internet access and safes for your valuables. Some units have lovely views of the Iringa Hills and all guest units are built on the top floor of the centre. A great restaurant is available where you can acquire scrumptious meals, as well as delicious coffee which is sourced from one of the top coffee estates in East Africa. An Internet café is also situated on site and comes with fast broadband connection and Wi-Fi. The fabulous Neema Crafts Centre workshop is where 128 disabled people produce beautiful craft items and guests can browse the crafts in the shop. The centre is also the best place to find local information and tourist sites which most people miss.
