The Inn With The Well gets its name from the original well set in the restaurant floor. Bulletproof glass has been used to provide a safe cover for the well, allowing you to stand on top and look down the 30-metre shaft of this impressive original feature. Originally established in 1647, this traditional coaching inn is situated on the Ridgeway path, Europe's oldest highway. Today, the inn still has a convenient location, with good access to the area's main roads. The inn is just off the A346, only 5 minutes from junction 15 of the M4 motorway.
