St Francis E’s-cape is a contemporary, modern home in the heart of St Francis Village. With the recently renovated shingle roof and white washed ceilings, the house is bright with beautiful views over the village and out to sea. Large enclosed garden provides safety for pets. Central, but quiet location within 500m of both golf courses and walking distance to shops and swimming beach. Downstairs the house comprises a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and informal lounge, which opens onto covered patio with outside dining facilities and Weber braai. Upstairs the queen bed sleeps two adults, plus a sleeper couch for small children or 3rd adult. Kindly note: Property has off-street parking and several stairs to the house (around 20). House itself also has stairs and balcony with double railing which is fairly exposed for small children. Therefore not suitable for those who may find stairs problematic. Small children require adult supervision.

Thatchwood is only 1 hour drive west of Port Elizabeth.

Summerhill is a small, upmarket guest house that is situated in the heart of the beautiful thatched village of St Francis Bay, in the Eastern Cape. It offers modern, spacious and comfortable apartments, that are fully-equipped. All of the spacious bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom. Towels, tea and coffee-making facilities, DStv and a daily cleaning service during the week are provided free of charge. Laundry services are also provided on site. Perhaps this could be followed by a leisurely stroll to the beach where the kids can frolic in the waves, whilst you spot a school of dolphins or a whale (during whale season). Come back to a hearty, gourmet, English breakfast served on the terrace or in the cozy dining room. The perfect way to end your day would be a leisurely sundowner cruise along our extensive canal system followed by a quiet drink in our cozy lounge or our casual TV lounge / library before visiting one of our many restaurants offering superb cuisine. If you prefer to do-it-yourself we have canoes and a canal boat for hire. Perhaps we can pack a picnic basket for you to enjoy while you explore the magnificent scenery up the Kromme River and our extensive waterways at your leisure. For those who just wish to relax at home you can enjoy a good book while sipping a long, cool drink on our private beach, or watch the children building sandcastles and frolicking in the warm canal water. Many would like to experience Africa's biggest attraction, our wildlife, and we have wonderful malaria free Big Five game parks and excellent bird watching nearby.

Set next to the fairway of the fifteenth hole of the golf course and a couple of minute's walk to the beach or local village restaurants, the guest house has all rooms spaciously appointed in redecorated country cottage style.
