The guest house is 4 minutes' drive from Stranraer ferry terminal and a one minute drive from Cairnryan, making it ideally positioned for the Stena Line ferries to Belfast and the P&O ferries to Larne. Offering a range of accommodation, the building has the scale and design of a hotel (although we do not have a licensed bar), but offers the prices and hospitality that define a quality guest house or B&B.

The B&B has a family connection to Lakeview Guest House in Stranraer and likewise prides itself on a high standard of guest accommodation. All the rooms at Balyett Bed and Breakfast are spotlessly clean and are decorated in keeping with the traditional décor of this Victorian home. Other than a traditional Scottish breakfast, coffee and freshly cut sandwiches are available on request, and are served in the guest lounge. The B&B has private parking for 6 cars, and are happy to take late arrivals from the ferries. For your safety and comfort, smoking is not permitted anywhere in the B&B.
