These two charming cottages date back to the 1800s and combine authentic Karoo style and ambience with every modern comfort. They are beautifully restored and furnished with antiques. The Cottages face each other across the shady quiet of one of the most picturesque streets of the town. Each cottage has its own private garden and all our beautiful rooms are air-conditioned, with en-suite bathrooms, white linen, DStv and flowers from our lovely garden. Our rate includes a full Karoo breakfast which consists of cereals, yoghurt, fruits from the orchard, our own free range eggs, bacon, and sausage. We are right next to the nature reserve, nestled in the shadow of Spandau’s Kop, an easy walk takes you right into the best of Karoo nature. The town centre is an easy 10 minute walk, where we organise dinners at any one of our variety of good restaurants. We have swimming facilities in our bore-hole-fed dam and secure off-street parking. As the Gem of the Karoo our town warrants a two night stop over.
