Rosedale Farm is an eco-friendly Bed and Breakfast 12 km from the Addo Elephant National Park. We are 45 minutes from Port Elizabeth, in the beautiful Sundays River Valley. This is a malaria free area, where you can have exciting encounters with the 'Big 5'. You will be welcome in our secure and comfortable thatched cottages, surrounded by citrus groves, which we farm naturally - we have used no dangerous chemicals on the farm since 2000. We have 6 rooms, each with en suite bathrooms and tea/coffee making facilities. The rooms are big enough to squeeze in an extra bed or cot for your children. We grow and source as much food locally as what we can. Breakfasts are substantial, and include organic home baked bread, orange juice and preserves. If you need a late breakfast after an early morning game drive, that's fine by us. We are situated in the heart of Addo, just a couple of minutes from restaurants, pubs, ATM's and a number of fun and educational activities that will make your stay one to remember. We can also give you a guided tour of the farm, to show you how we farm in harmony with nature.

The Elephant House is a small exclusive lodge only minutes away from the Addo Elephant Park. Situated on a beautiful race horse stud and surrounded by rolling lawns and indigenous trees this is the perfect place to return to after a hot day in the bush. The lodge, with its thatched roof, wide verandas and exceptional service is reminiscent of the old colonial safari experience. The antiques, superior fabrics and the owner's private collection of Africana art gives on the feeling of cosseted luxury. The eight luxury rooms are all individually decorated and guarantee that the guest has a truly relaxing experience. Four rooms are twin bedded and four rooms are queen bedded. A number of half day tours of the Sundays River Valley are available whilst Shamwari Game Reserve and Schotia Safaris are only half an hour away, making this the perfect base from which to visit all the attractions in the Addo area.

Bydand is situated on a working citrus farm in the heart of the Sundays River Valley close to the Addo Elephant National Park. Accomodation is in comfortable, tastefully furnished en-suite double or twin bedded rooms overlooking the orchards. All rooms have air-conditioning and ceiling fans. Guests are free to walk about as they wish, or to simply laze on a lounger next to the pool. For the more adventurous there are quad-bike tours of the farm - including a river crossing! Quad-bike, or Landrover tours of a nearby private game farm can also be arranged. There are a number of game reserves close to Bydand includaing Schotia Safaris and Amakhala. In the beautiful citrus and rose growing area of the Sundays River Valley, 25 minutes from the Addo Elephant Park, Dave and Judy Smith welcome you to their farm. Avoca, which means ' The meeting of the waters '. Ideal for nature lovers and bird watchers. Luxury fully-equipped chalets along the river. Sleeps two to five people. Four thatch and mud huts with two hot shower/toilets and a fully-equipped ' Lapa ' (Kitchen) alongside the river where there is an abundance of fish and birdlife. Plenty of scenic walks through the citrus orchards, and canoeing on the river , which is inclusive of the price. A path leads down from the lush garden to a small bush camp overlooking the river where two wooden cabins nestle in a sheltered clearing. We now have a new chalet on this site. They share a hot shower/toilet and a fully equipped 'Lapa'. The camp leads out onto a deck that looks out over the river and mountains. A great place for sundowners. We also have access to a private game lodge at R1320 per person per day, which includes dinner, drinks and breakfast and a night and morning game drive. The wildlife includes Lions, Rhinos, Hippos, Giraffes and several Antelope Although our rates are per unit on the site we do welcome singles and couples to enquire about better options. Happy Lands B and B is situated in the heart of the Sundays River Valley only 15 minutes drive from the Addo Elephant Park. We are situated on a working citrus farm. Accommodation consists of four en-suite bedrooms each with its own private patio. There is a swimming pool in our lush garden for guests to enjoy. Hearty breakfasts are served on the patio overlooking the garden with its varied birdlife. Sample Nita's home made jams and preserves as well as her tasty home cooked South African meals. Mike enjoys sharing his knowledge of the African stars with the guests. We gladly organise game drives and safaris in the area.
