Pension het Smidsvuur is a typical small dutch Bed & Breakfast accommodation. It is located in the center of Workum, next to the canals. For our guests we rent for discounted rates: motorboats, bicycles and canoes. We also have a small Sauna and Solarium. We have got 2 cosy living rooms where the guest can use the extensive kitchen facilities.We are looking forward to see you in the historical city of Workum!
Pension het Smidsvuur is een kleinschalige lokatie gelegen aan een doorgaande vaarroute, nabij het historische stadshart van Workum. Voor onze gasten verhuren wij met ruime korting: kano's, motorbootjes en fietsen. Tevens beschikken wij over een 2-tal gezellige huiskamers waarbij de gast gebruik kan maken van de uitgebreide keukenfaciliteiten. Sauna en Solarium zijn aanwezig.

Our hotel had been located in the center of the old city Workum. The hotel offers more than just a sleep over. The hotel has a stylish restaurant, a attractive bar and asunny terrace to the market square. Also on short distance is the famous Jopie Huisman museum.
Ons hotel is gelegen in het centrum van het oude stadje Workum. Voor de zaak, op de markt, is het goed toeven op ons terras (70 m). Achter ons bedrijf is doorgaand vaarwater van het IJsselmeer naar de Friese binnenmeren. Dit is tevens elfstedentraject. Tevens op loopafstand (50m) bevindt zich het befaamde Jopie Huisman museum.

Welgelegen is a former farm turned into a campingsite with a Bed & Breakfast. All the available rooms are located on the first floor in the tastefully designed bed & breakfast, and have a view on the beautiful landscape. Shower & toilet are shared facilities and the breakfast room is located on the ground floor. During the daytime the breakfast room is also available as a relax room. In the area there are many recreational possibilities such as cycling, walking routes, surfing, kite surfing and skating.
Welgelegen is een voormalige boerderij. Alle kamers zijn gelegen op de 1e verdieping en u heeft bij alle smaakvol ingerichte kamers ruim uitzicht over de landerijen. Douche en wc is voor gezamenlijk gebruik, beneden is een eetzaal waar uw ontbijt wordt geserveerd. Het buffet staat in de voormalige bedstee.In de omgeving zijn er talloze recreatiemogelijkheden zoals fietsen, wandelen, surfen, kiten, skaten etc.

Our hotel is situated in a recently renovated, beautiful farmhouse situated at the old harbour of Workum. Workum is a very old city, with a lot of leisure and entertainment facilities. The hotel is situated near the city centre and near the IJsselmeer beach / quay. It is possible to rent a boat with us, for a whole day, an afternoon or a whole week.
Ons hotel is gelegen in een pas gerenoveerde, schitterende boerderij aan het water in één van de elf Friesche steden. Workum is een zeer oud stadje met vele mogelijkheden. Goede en gezellige restaurants, musea, etc. Het hotel is vlakbij de stad en vlakbij het strand / oude kade van het IJsselmeer. Het is ook mogelijk om bij ons een boot te huren voor een hele dag, een avond of een hele week.
