In het centrum van de oude stad Maastricht, 300 meter van het Vrijthof, woon ik, Ben Oosterbos in een karakteristieke woning, waarin ik drie kamers verhuur aan gasten. Mijn woning is omstreeks 1730 gebouwd en heeft diverse bestemmingen gehad. De laatst bekende ambachtsbestemming is die van sigarenwinkel. De Hofnar in glas-in-lood boven de voordeur verwijst nog naar deze bestemming. Naar deze Hofnar heb ik mijn pensionnetje ook genoemd. De kamers bevinden zich op de eerste, tweede en derde etage. De kamers zijn via een aparte ingang bereikbaar. Er bevindt zich een apart nieuw toilet in de gang op de eerste etage. De drie kamers maken gezamenlijk gebruik van een zeer ruime en mooie badkamer met toilet, douche, ligbad en wastafel.

The original name was In den Raeven, as reminded by a stone carving of a raven above the entrance. The front building consists of five, and the back of three apartments.
