Diani House
Mombasa: Diani Beach
Diani House is approximately 30 Kms south of Mombasa on Diani Beach. The House is set in 12 acres of forested garden with 250 meters of beach frontage. Each bedroom has its own verandah and direct access to the garden and beach. The garden is a haven for small animals - three types of monkey; baboons; the tiny suni antelope; bush babies and monitor lizards - and many types of birds. Diani House has three twin rooms and one double room ? all ensuite, and one single room with shared bathroom. The house has a communal living room and front verandah. There are ceiling and stand-up fans in all the rooms.

Mukurumuji Camp
Mombasa: Shimba Hills National Reserve
Mukurumuji Tented Camp is situated in the Shimba Hills, which lie in the Hinterland of Diani Beach on the south coast of Kenya. The camp is on a forested hill in the privately owned 'Sable Valley Game Sanctuary' overlooking the Shimba Hills National Reserve. The red earth road ascends and, as the ocean is left behind, passes through beautiful countryside with colourful villages and farms worked by the Digo people. ACTIVITIES: Safari Camp, Walks, Game Drives, Day Trips, Bird Watching, Waterfall Pool. There are four comfortable double tents and a luxury 'honeymoon' cottage. Each is covered with palm thatch and has its own verandah and bathroom ensuite. From the camp herds of sable antelope, elephant and buffalo may be seen on the hills across the valley. Visitors might enjoy a walk down to the river, or choose to sit quietly, simply observing and absorbing. As the African night falls, a campfire is lit and guests can watch the stars and listen to the clamor of extraordinary night sounds. Excursions from the camp include a day trip into the Shimba Hills National Reserve, where rain forests, river valleys and open plains are home to a variety of wild animals and birds. The fit and adventurous may take a walk to Sheldricks falls and swim in the cool pool below. An alternative excursion is to visit the community run Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary, approximately two hours drive from the camp.
