Formerly a villa dating back to the 1300s, this historic building has been reconstructed to offer 24 rooms, immersed in the peaceful countryside of Umbria. Each of the rooms is decorated in a different style, and is characterised by a different colour and a knight's name. They all offer comfort and all modern comforts, to ensure that your stay is memorable. All of the rooms also benefit from a view of the garden which surrounds the hotel. During the day you can relax in the beautiful gardens by the pool, or explore the surrounding countryside, whilst in the evenings you can unwind with a drink in the hotel bar. Meeting and banqueting facilities are also available on request.

The farmhouse has been meticulously and sensitively restored to its original splendor, using materials of the finest quality to create an original yet refined atmosphere. The xiv century chapel and old tower have been restored with great attention to detail and house the deluxe suite and elegant mirror-paneled lift. The country house has 18 rooms and 5 independent suites with all modern conveniences, and each unique in every detail.

Our name's hotel is Hotel Porta Nuova, like the mediaeval gate for the entrance in the heart of Assisi (Italy), from which we are only 30 meters far. Built at the beginning of xx century with the typical pink Assisi's stones, the Hotel Porta Nuova, was originally a big private house. In 1988 has been renovated into a hotel. The Hotel is excellently located in strategic central position in Umbria (in less than two hours you can reach all the boundaries of the region).
