We are pleased to invite you in our pleasant hotel in the village of Gasthuis (Bemelen) at 10 minutes by car from the centre of Maastricht. In our house you may enjoy the stillness, the quiet and the beautiful views of the countryside and yet you are close to the city. Our large and cosy rooms are decorated with antique furniture, including 2 easy chairs and they are all different. In the morning we serve a delicious breakfast with freshly pressed orange juice, home made jam and warm rolls. De Traverse makes a good start for a walk or bicycle tour in the surrounding countryside. And of course a visit to the city of Maastricht is very worth while. But also the cities of Aaken and Luik are within half an hour drive away. Alternatively you may take a bath in the lovely warm thermal water of Thermae 2000. And when you return, you may play a set at the tennis-court or enjoy our beautiful wines on the terrace.

's Morgens serveren wij een heerlijk ontbijt met onder meer vers geperst sinaasappelsap, eigengemaakte jam en warme broodjes. Ons hotel vormt een prima start voor een wandeling of fietstocht in het ons omringende heuvelland. Natuurlijk is ook een bezoek aan Maastricht meer dan de moeite waard. Of u neemt een bad in het heerlijke warme thermale water van Thermae 2000. En wanneer u terugkeert, kunt u een balletje slaan op onze tennisbaan of genieten van onze heerlijke wijnen op ons terras.
