Kinneil Self Catering apartments are located in a property built by Clyde shipping magnate Captain W. Buchanan in 1885. To reflect his love of the sea, all apartments have panoramic views across Lamlash Bay to Holy Isle and the Mainland beyond. Free on-site parking is also provided. The Kinneil apartments are named after the paddle steamers owned by Captain Buchanan, and each comes with free Wi-Fi, use of garden overlooking the bay, and a lounge area with TV/DVD player. A full-size oven, microwave and fridge are featured in the fully equipped kitchens. A barbeque and golf clubs are also available. The property's owners can arrange bike hire, maps for local walks and arrange transport from the ferry terminal. Native wildlife such as eagles, red deer and basking sharks can be spotted in the local area, as well as the occasional red squirrel.
