Sunrise Resort is located in the province of South Batinah, near Rustaq, and the north western side of The mountain of the Sun, Jabal Shams. Boasting truly individual beauty with wonderful panoramic views from its high vantage point. The resort overlooks mountain slopes on all side where ancient trees and shrubs adorn its franks and have grown for centuries in deep valley and on high mountainous terrain. The spacious chalets and tents at the resort come with heating and a flat-screen satellite TV. The tents have an attached, outdoor bathroom, while the chalets have en suite bathrooms. Traditional Omani dishes are served at the buffet restaurant, which offers indoor and outdoor seating. In the evening, guests can sit around the campfire. Sunrise Resort is an all year round destination, where you can escape the heat and humidity of the cities in the other parts of the Gulf Region. Enjoy balmy temperature, rarely exceeding 25 degrees Celsius in the summer and cooler temperature in the winter, which can drop as far as -5 degree Celsius.
