The Berg River Resort is located in the Paarl Valley, just 60 km north east of Cape Town, perfectly positioned for exploring the Boland, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek Winelands. The resort offers various water sports in a tranquil setting and is located close to famous wine estates, country golf courses, shops, and excellent restaurants. Situated on the banks of the Berg River, the resort offers a tranquil setting as well as activities for children of all ages. There are approximately 150 partially grassed stands for caravans and tents, most with 15 amp electrical outlets, while the self-catering family chalets cater two to six people. These range from bachelor-style chalets for two people to two-bedroom units. Berg River Cafe provides essentials as well as meals, and catering for small, private functions and group bookings can also be arranged.
