Located at 2,998 feet above sea level in the Hohe Tauern National Park, Berggasthof Wallackhaus is set on the Großglockner High Alpine Road right next to the ski slope on the Großglockner, Austria’s highest mountain. The traditionally furnished rooms offer flat-screen satellite TV and a hairdryer. The Wallackhaus features a winter garden and restaurant with mountain views. In winter, a spa area with a sauna, a steam bath, and an infrared cabin can be used by guests. There is also a relaxation room with panoramic mountain views, and the new Sky Bar. A dry room with a boot dryer and a small workshop are available free of charge for motorcyclists. In winter, the access road is closed, and the Wallackhaus can only be reached by cable car from Heiligenblut. Arrival and departure by cable car are free of charge for guests. Er befindet sich an der Großglockner-Hochalpenstraße direkt neben der Skipiste des Großglockners, dem höchsten Berg in Österreich. Die traditionell eingerichteten Zimmer verfügen über einen Flachbild-Sat-TV und einen Haartrockner. Das Wallackhaus bietet einen Wintergarten und ein Restaurant mit Bergblick. Im Winter entspannen Sie im Wellnessbereich mit einer Sauna, einem Dampfbad und einer Infrarotkabine. Außerdem gibt es einen Ruheraum mit Panoramablick auf die Berge und eine neue Sky Bar. Ein Trockenraum mit Schuhtrockner und eine kleine Werkstatt für Motorradfahrer sind ebenfalls kostenfrei vorhanden. Im Winter ist die Zufahrtsstraße gesperrt, sodass das Wallackhaus nur mit der Seilbahn ab Heiligenblut erreicht werden kann. Die An- und Abreise mit der Seilbahn ist für Sie kostenlos.
