This family-run traditional hotel is located in Borkheide in the province of Brandenburg, just to the west of Berlin and within easy reach of Potsdam. Enjoy the historical ambience in the Hotel Fliegerheim. This beautiful building was renovated according to its original design from around 1900. The Borkheide area is steeped in aviation history, and when known as Bork, it was the site of Germany's first motorised flight in 1909. The building was used as a flying school throughout the 20th century. In recent times the building reopened as a hotel and restaurant. It was named Fliegerheim (pilots' quarters) to reflect its proud aviation tradition. Nowadays you can stay here and enjoy a rich breakfast buffet each morning, either in the conservatory restaurant or on the sun terrace. The Hotel Fliegerheim also features all modern comforts, including free wireless LAN.
