Biesiebos B and B is tucked away neatly and quietly on a secluded panhandle in Symons Lane. It is in easy strolling distance of good restaurants, the local museum and library, art galleries and the Garden Route Botanical Garden. The atmosphere is informal, stylish and you'll be sleeping under reeded ceilings. The bathrooms are spiffy and boast cementitious finishes. Internal doors are gleaming Oregon timber with original hardware of a bygone era. We are a small B and B - so guests have the place to themselves - great for those who like privacy, also the tourist who likes to meet the locals. 2 guest rooms means no more than 4 guests at a time. Our wonderful golf courses and golf estates are a few minutes drive away, as are the beaches of Wilderness, Victoria Bay, Herold's Bay and Glentana. Special interests include indigenous gardening, (hence the name Biesiebos, a biesie being the Akrikaans vernacular for a member of the family Restionacea. This plant family forms the unique distinguishing part of our famous Fynbos and is always represented despite tremendous variation in climate and soils); also good wholesome food, so do mention any special dietary needs when booking. Ann is a keen hiker and can advise on suitable routes (and provide a picnic to take along!). Accommodation offered: Two purpose-built, elegantly furnished en suite guest rooms, each with sliding doors to own patio in lush garden setting. Silverriet has a queensize doublebed and luxurious, spacious full bathroom with separate shower and bidet. (Great for honeymooners). Kanet has two single beds, gleaming wooden floors and en suite shower.
