One of the most historic hotels in Scotland with turrets and spiral staircases, Pittodrie House is set in 2,400 acres of land, just a 30-minute drive from Aberdeen. The rooms are individually decorated and adorned with family portraits. They all have an en suite bathroom with a bath, a shower and a hairdryer. Tea/coffee making facilities are also available. The Mither Tap Restaurant serves fine Scottish food, made with locally produced ingredients. There is a long list of malt whiskies and wines; guests can relax in the Snug Bar or in the lounge. The hotel provides activities including golf, clay pigeon shooting, pony trekking and croquet. A selection of trout, sea trout and salmon fishing is available on the Don, Dee and Deveron.
