The tour will take you through orchards and vineyards down to the Breede River which flows passed the farm. A rich variety of plant and birdlife exists there and if you wish you can then board the Breede River Goose, a river cruiser operated by a neighboring farmer. It is a most relaxing cruise and you will see a wide variety of birds. Dinner is served in the kitchen and Hugo and Heidi will sit down with you and at the most 6 other guests. Heidi adventures with her cooking to blend European styles with African and Malay style cooking. A lot of fresh vegetables and salads are always on the set menu so that even a vegetarian can have a wholesome dinner. Wine served at the table is from the Merwespont Wine Cellar. Breakfast is served from 08h00 until 12h00, about the time we start to serve lunch! If nothing has you in a holiday mood, this will get you!
