Dating back to 1844, this characteristic coach house was single-handedly converted into a charming Inn by Father Boigelot. It took 25 years, but what a result! Everything about this Inn reflects romance ? from its location in the picturesque Ardennes village, to the snug rooms, beautiful garden-front terrace in the summer and cosy roaring fire in the winter. The direct surroundings offer a number of marked forest walking paths and the opportunity to enjoy alpine and cross country skiing and sledding in the winter. Father Boigelot takes pleasure in doing the cooking himself, using only the freshest of ingredients from his own garden and local surroundings. He offers gastronomic weekends as well as half-board arrangements. Guests are welcomed in Dutch, French, German and English.
Cela remonte à 1844 quand le Père Boigelot a personnellement construit cette auberge pleine d'atmosphère. Cela a pris 25 ans mais le résultat en vaut la peine ! Tout est romantique : de la situation dans le pittoresque village des Ardennes, les chambres douillettes, la magnifique terrasse-jardin devant en été et la chaleureuse et agréable cheminée en hiver. L'environnement direct offre un grand nombre de chemins de forêt balisés, la possibilité de faire du ski alpin ou de fond ou de profiter des pentes de luges en hiver. Le père Boigelot prend grand plaisir à faire lui-même la cuisine en utilisant les ingrédients les plus frais de son jardin ou des ingrédients locaux des environs.
