Badia di Pomaio is a restored ancient monastery of the XVII century and it is now the ideal location for a relaxing and quiet stay at few minutes from the historical centre of Arezzo. The 19 rooms, comfortable and quiet, are different one from each other and keep the ancient atmosphere with their wood beams, the ancient furniture and the stone walls, fitted with modern facilities. In the summertime, the tiny square and its ancient loggia become a restaurant with its amazing view on the surrounding valley. In winter the atmosphere is even cosier with the warn fire-place in the dining room and the peculiar cellar arranged in an ancient cave. At the disposal of the guests, the hotel offers a splendid swimming pool, located on a natural terrace with open view on the town, where they can relax, drinking or reading a book.
Badia di Pomaio è un monastero del XVII secolo restaurato e convertito in quella che è ora la struttura ideale per un soggiorno rilassante e silenzioso, a pochi minuti dal centro storico di Arezzo. Le 19 camere, comode e silenziose, sono l'una diversa dall'altra e mantengono l'atmosfera originale con le travi a vista, gli arredi antichi e le pareti in pietra, nonostante siano dotate dei moderni comfort. In estate, la piazzetta e l'antica loggia si trasformano in un ristorante con splendida vista sulla vallata circostante. In inverno l'atmosfera si fa ancora più intima nella sala ristorante con camino e nella caratteristica cantina ricavata da un'antica grotta. L'albergo offre ai suoi ospiti una splendida piscina che si trova su una terrazza naturale con vista sulla città; qui è possibile rilassarsi gustando una bibita o leggendo un libro.
