Architektur und Inneneinrichtung des Landhauses im englischen Stil fanden bereits damals eine starke überregionale Beachtung. In den Jahren 1992/93 wurde die gesamte Anlage nach originalen Vorlagen restauriert und zu einem Hotel mit 80 Betten und anspruchsvoller Gastronomie umgestaltet.
