Welcome to the Hotel am Hehlentor; your friendly accommodation in the Heart of Celle. It is situated centrally in Nordwall close to the pedestrian precinct embedded in the historical old town of Celle. From there most of the sights are a stone´s throw. The front of our building previously leaned so much it was to Celle what the Leaning Tower is to Pisa. Our house was built in 1712 and expanded in 1718, however in 1994 it was completely restored and the front was straightened. For reconstruction special attention was paid to keeping the architectural style of the former times.
Eingebettet in den historischen Stadtkern Celles liegt es zentral am Nordwall in direkter Nähe zur Fußgängerzone. Von hier aus sind viele Sehenswürdigkeiten nur einen Steinwurf entfernt. Was für Pisa der schiefe Turm ist, war unser Haus, 1712 erbaut und 1718 erweitert, einst für Celle wegen seiner stark geneigten Fassade. Mit der umfassenden Restaurierung im Jahr 1994 wurde es jedoch aufgerichtet. Bei dem Umbau vergaß man allerdings nicht, den Baustil der früheren Jahre zu erhalten.
