Rum Point Inn is located approximately 120 mile flight from Belize City and one mile from the Placencia Airstrip. Guests fly internationally into Belize City and then must schedule a 40-minute flight to the Placencia Peninsula, prior to departing for your trip. Guess can call the Inn to arrange pick up from the local airstrip.The innkeepers, after several years of exploring Latin America, settled in Belize in 1971 and have been continuously supporting ecological conservation and protection efforts. The property's amenities include the library, verandah with hammock, and seaside dining room, all within the Main Lodge, a colonial-style building dating from the 1950s. Rum Point divers conduct exploration of the cayes and reefs of southern Belize. The hotel jet boat can take guests to the many dive and snorkel sites.
