Hostellerie La Butte Aux Bois is situated in the heart of the Euregion, only 5 kilometres from Maastricht, in the rolling landscape shaped by the river Maas in Limburg. The castle, initially intended as a residence, was built in 1924 by (Sir) Lagasse de Locht and in the eighties and nineties transformed into a stylish hotel with luxurious rooms, an elegant restaurant, winter gardens and large terraces. The transformation of the domain was completed in 1996 with the opening of the Aquamarijn Beauty Centre, an exclusive centre with a swimming pool, a Turkish bath, a sauna and a whirlpool.
In het hart van de Euregio, op slechts 5 kilometer van Maastricht, in het glooiende landschap van de Limburgse Maas, ligt Hostellerie La Butte aux Bois. Het kasteel, oorspronkelijk als woonhuis bestemd, werd gebouwd in 1924 door Ridder Lagasse de Locht en in de jaren tachtig en negentig door de familie Bullens omgetoverd tot sfeervolle hostellerie met luxe hotelkamers, elegant restaurant, ruime conferentiezalen, wintertuinen en grote terrassen. De transformatie van het domein werd in 1996 voltooid met de opening van Beautycenter Aquamarijn, een exclusief Shiseido Beautycenter met zwembad, Turks stoombad, sauna en whirlpool.
