Hostellerie La Butte Aux Bois is situated in the heart of the Euregion, only 5 kilometres from Maastricht, in the rolling landscape shaped by the river Maas in Limburg. The castle, initially intended as a residence, was built in 1924 by (Sir) Lagasse de Locht and in the eighties and nineties transformed into a stylish hotel with luxurious rooms, an elegant restaurant, winter gardens and large terraces.
